A little far-fetched? Maybe not. I was on the Microsoft campus in Redmond while they were rehersing the release for Windows 95. It reminded me of "Triumph of the Will." Although more bland (the Nazis were better dressers), the theme was definitely world domination. I recall Building 8 had little plaques which read, "Our Goal: A Personal Computer in every house, and Microsoft Software running every computer." You can bet they took those down.
